I Am In Love

I am in love. Today, I took a tango class. At the hostel, I met this boy who is here with a program, which is right down the street. He said that they were offering Tango classes and wanted to know if I wanted to come. Of course I did. So, I went and learned how to Tango for an hour. Wow, it is quite difficult, even the simple parts, but I had fun. The best part though, was the teacher who was a few inches taller than I am, dark coloring such as that of a true Argentine, some scruff on his face, which I normally don't like, and a beautiful Argentine accent. Oh my goodness. I am in love. There were only 3 people in the class, and I was the only girl. For that reason, obviously if the teacher wanted to demonstrate something, he would do it with me. Therefore, several times during the class, he lead me around swiftly, moving me with each step he made. All I did, was hold onto his arms or shoulder and hand, and I would follow his steps and go where he took me. It was so smooth, and felt so natural doing it, because he knew what he was doing. Because the Tango is a very sensual dance, we danced close to each other and looked into each other's eyes the entire time. I am in love. But of course, what girl wouldn't swoon over a man who can dance, especially a dance with so much desire? The sad part however, is that the hour flew by, and he said, in his romantic Argentine accent, I will see you next week. But, he will not. I am leaving on Tuesday. A day before the next lesson. Therefore, I told him that I would actually be leaving, so we kissed on the cheek and said goodbye. So sad. But who knows, maybe within the next few days, I will run into him and we will confess our love for each other and get married. We will Tango down the aisle.
