I spent Friday the 2nd to Friday the 9th in Isla de Pascua (Easter Island)/ Rapa Nui which is what the indigenous call it. It was wonderful! It was warm and I wore shorts and short sleeve shirts the entire time there! It was weird because it was incredibly sunny and then all of a sudden it would rain for ten minutes, and then become sunny again. But that's island weather for you.
There were moai (the rock statues of big heads and little bodies) everywhere! I ate lots of ceviche and met a lot of interesting people, but I will go into more detail about that in the future blog posts.
Over all, Easter Island was a wonderful place and I recommend it to everyone!
